Four pillars, explained

A data centre is a building. A campus is a set of promises. At AHI those promises come in four, and each one depends on the others.

Energy security comes first because nothing else works without it. Generating behind the fence means the campus is not a new load on Alberta’s grid — and the export pathway in development means that, over time, it adds capacity rather than consuming it.

Data security is the reason to build in Canada at all. Your banking, your health records and your business already live in data centres; the only question is whose. Canadian data belongs on Canadian soil, under Canadian law, in Alberta-owned halls.

Food security is what the cooling design makes possible. Waste heat from the halls is engineered to catalyze year-round agritech on the campus — a regional asset from a by-product.

Career security is the pillar our neighbours feel first: Alberta trades on site today, an operations team that grows with every hall over a 25-year horizon, and education partnerships so local students can step straight into these careers without leaving Central Alberta.
