Premier Smith answers Albertans’ data-centre questions

Premier Danielle Smith has answered Albertans’ questions on AI data centres — power, water, land and jobs — in a video Q&A now featured on AHI’s Community Information page.

The questions are the same ones our neighbours in Red Deer County ask, and AHI’s answers are published alongside the Premier’s. Power: AHI generates its own power behind the fence, with an export pathway that adds capacity to the grid. Water: zero municipal water — a sealed closed loop. Land: an established heavy-industrial park, not farmland. Jobs: 120+ Albertans on the project today and 20–100 trades on site through construction.
